I am debating on if I want to race this or not. Anyone have any experience…is it worth it if I am not doing the whole series and just one race?

Bakersfield
I forget how shitty the quality of life is here in Bakersfield. It seems to be a wasteland of shit. I can’t wait to get back home to the fresh air and green trees

Today I received a text message and I almost lost my shit. This is probably the most beautiful bike I have seen to date. Kelly sent me a picture of her new Tiemeyer track bike. I don’t really know how to put into words how amazing it is so I will just post a picture. I can’t not wait to take photos of this bike fully built up.

Along with the weekly races I will be doing this season I am looking to have a busy season. I am also planning on driving out to Marymoor Velodrome to do some race out that way. I am going crazy watching track videos and getting days here and there where we can ride our track. I want to race. I want to see how much I have improved from last season. I want to upgrade. I want to go to race in San Jose, Encino, LA, Seattle. I want to race at nationals but that will most likely be next year. I have this fire inside me that I have never had before and I need to get it out. Put it all down on the track and show no mercy. I must race faster, harder and more aggressive than I ever have to achieve my goals. This winter I have been working my butt off to do better on the track and I really hope it all pays off. 5/5 can not come soon enough.
Wow I have been away for a while…
Lagged super hard on posting the past 2 weeks. Been pre-occupied with all of this nice weather we have been having in portland and working 50 hours a week. Not much down time. Gonna try and keep up with this a little more. I will post some photos from what has happened in the last few weeks.
I got my zipp 404′s and got to test them out at the track. All I can say is I am in love with my bike all over again.
 
Got to spend time at the track with some team mates working on getting comfortable and actually helped Travis get on the track for the first time. And by that Smile I can say he was pretty excited.
Got to take Priscilla on a date for the first time in a long while. We got tickets to a Blazer game and got to hang out in one of the suites. This was pretty sweet!
I think that’s most of the important stuff. Like I said I will be posting more often again.
